Monday BLU

it's been awhile since i updated my blog..well..since i'm soo free and alot of stuff that's running through my mind that's disturbing my sleep and causing me to feel weaker than ever the day after everyday..i guess i should blog..ngiahhaha.. cool peeps, nothing major..just bored.. hehe

Yesterday was the same routine...goin badminton, goin supper after badminton, den chatted with friends on Windows Live msnger and not forgetting battle of the bands on facebook xD til really2 late around 4-5am den i actually slept...this are the stuff i do that i like, and have no complain againts boredom or whatsoever... Just that, this time it's not boredom that kicks in.. Just that there's just way too many important things that's running through my mind..erkh...and everytime it starts to bug me, i will try to block it out before it affects my mood and the mood of the ppl around me.. coz it's just some small problems that no one else can help but myself. Friends cannot help personal problems but they can distract you before u start whining about it.. kakakakaka.

So while i was playing badminton..thinking back pasal my current financial status. There's just tonnes of things i wanna buy. I'm in shopping mood but i just don't have the cash. I soo need to sell of my PSP ASAP...wanna buy diz wanna buy dat..currently there's 2 interested buyer who's willing to pay RM600 for the PSP..but shyt the maintenance process by the org kedai to my PSP is taking such a long timeee!! Now lelong is selling PSP on 'Raya Promotion' So it's slightly cheaper..tsk3xxx...me bingung coz lamak gilak tunggu my psp to siap..the longer i wait the higher the chance is for price to drop even further...but den psp price mmg pun like YO-YO since last time. when i bought my psp early this year it was rm800 den dropped to RM700, den naik balik rm800...hihihihihi..

Second thing that every once in awhile irritates me..but den again, it's my own mistake for taking things wayy too lightly xDD...My final year project has not started at all...and the 1st semester of my final year is goin to end soon..and i haven't start at all!!! oh well..den this week i got 2 major assigments to do..i guess it's enough time..i hope...

Last but not least..although my attendance has been errrr...however..i'm pushing myself to not flop at all this semester..I think i do need some luck. hehehhehe.

Actually that wasn't the last.. there's more things that's piling in my mind.. malas jak mau tulis.. hehehhehehe...

Where do we stand in this competition?? Between number 6-10. LOL. We didn't get any number but were in the finals la maksudnyaa..

1st place goes to Stoic4Life, 2nd Dyerbreed, 3rd lupa suda nama sorry2, consolations orion burns and lucille.. Some of their videos can be watched on utube.. So just try searching on these band names and u will be able to spot it. eh, not forgetting our band videos. LOL.. just search through my utube account 'pearlyannechan'. hihihihi

Wish i have photos of it, once i have the pics i'll edit this post...Btw, it was raining during the finals.. Hahahhahak.. spoil li juak...our band played 2 songs...intrumental patriotik cover for saya anak malaysia and paramore cover lagi - emergency. I think we did okayh.. That's just about it. The intrumental wasn't up to par but what do u expect from less than 1/2 hour practice. Sighh..

When results were given...when they announce ORION BURNS consolation..from that moment, okayh, that will be imposible to get any number coz that band ordy terlampau hebat. one of my favourites in the competition.

How i wish for finals the judge will be involved giving feedbacks to everyband after they perform on where to improve this that. i wanna hear that. ekekekke. Although i can get feedbacks from utube users juak. ekekeke

Violette: We're in the semis!!

That's a video of us during our preliminary round. It was funnn, the stage was niceeee..the audience was supportive. Nice crowddd yesterday night. On the first night of the prelims (23rd august), 13 bands competing to be the top 6 to go on in the semifinals... Alex's band Max capacity also made it through the semifinals. They were good...ROckin their metal music. hIhihihihi..Pretty good scores too..Alex got full marks for vocals. Woot3xx.

On the second night(just now 24th august), more great bands performed..Had fun..i went there to chill wearing comfy clothes...Singlet, shortpants,slipar jepunn...Den den...when all bands done performing...Results announce..Adeih, perlukah naik stage...dah la i wear cikai...ekekkekee. auk jakla..

Yup, it's final. Violette will be in the semifinal stage on 29th August 08. Yay, happy coz we just proved to ourself that, yea, we don't suck. Hehehhehehe. Supposedly 12 bands in semifinals but the judges put in 2 more bands in as wildcards. Yippeee!! So a challenge is set for semifinalist.. For the first 2-3 minutes(7 minutes given), every band must play an instrumental. Any instrumental songs from the 60s or 70s! LOLL~

So plzzz...Anyone got any suggestions? Do leave a comment...Hihihihihihi...

The day before the next battle of the bands

Yesh, another battle of the bands. this time at boulevard - Banditogether 08. 25 bands competing for the rm1ooo grand prize. Just wanna join the battle for fun and see where we stand in this competition. So far, i have no idea the lvl of this band.. So yea, i'm excited for this. Didn't practice at all this week coz bandmates including myself just couldn't find the time where all of us free at the same time.. Just hoping that after all this jamming sessions that has been goin on for the past year will help booze our confidence. LOL

Neways, waiting for dance! online to finish load. i don't wanna sleep tonite. i doubt that i cud sleep. hehehehe. Hope pearl wudn't sleep early. i nid teman to keep me awake tonite. ekekekekke

Today I...

bought a new handphone!!

After using my 3250 for a mere 3 years..finally i decided to change handphone..Not really keen to change coz im a simple handphone user...LOL....Today teman alex shop for a new handphone coz his phone condemned..So, while he was shopping...i was tempted to get one too...And yea, i did got one! GArrrrr...Now im broke..BUt im happy, coz i love it. Slim handphone..Love it coz it's slim..hehehehhe...So, it's Nokia 5310 Music Express.

Getaway

I’ve planned on this from quite some time, finally I get to go on a vacation with Alex. Yippie! Just wanna go have fun while meet up with a friend whom I’ve not met for quite some time iaitu Priss a.k.a Didek - one of the Crawlers back in matriculation. Heee.

So yea, planned it 2 months back on where to stay, do what, what am I gonna tell my parents so yea, che, if ur reading this, don’t busy body tell mummy or daddy coz I don’t feel the need to tell them coz I’m using my own cash yea. Thanx. :D

So, Alex and I went to KL, for 3 nights from 24th til 27th July. Went there by Airasia Just RM160 per pax return flight, and staying 3 nights at TuneHotels just for RM210 for 3 nights. It’s a very good price since the bed is really comfortable. Love it. Hahak.

At only RM70 a night, we get aircon, hot power shower, a big enuf bathroom and toilet, a foldable table, nice lighting and this comfy bed. The moment I wanted to sleep, I fell asleep within 10 seconds. LOL. Normally it would take me around half an hour to fall asleep.

First day, after arriving at TuneHotels, freshen up, den went out to browse2 search nearby. Oh yea, tune hotels is around Medan Tuanku. There’s a monorail nearby, Sogo, pertama complex, and other places nearby. So yea, Alex and I went to Pertama Complex and geez, handphone sia punya la murah, I almost bought one. Rugi eh sik..Tsk3xxx…. Bought band tees there. They have this custom made bandshirts in Pertama Complex recommended by Kiya. Oh yesss, nice design, no wonder Kiya loves it. I don’t. Those are male teeesss…Geezzz…Size S fits but the chest part is just to tight~ Made for guys right~ but I bought it eventually…Bought 2 band shirts there. Paramore and August Burns Red tees…heeee…After that, had Pizza for dinner…Went back home, relaxed..Den went to times square to watch a movie. Before movie, browse through times square and I bought 2 new tees from Hang Ten. Movie for that night was Journey To The Centre Of The Earth. It wass niceeee..hahaha. Silly, not logic at all but still, entertaining since it got me up all the way although I wass extremely tired already… 11.30pm, movie ended and we catch the monorail back to Medan Tuanku.. Tired but don’t wanna go back early..So we went to a Penang Kopitiam along the streets for yamcha..Went back after midnight…Reached back home and slept…Zzzzzzzz….
2nd day, woke up around 11am(overslept) heeee…took the monorail to Bukit Bintang and had lunch at Super Noodle House. Ala2 HongKong Noodle house in Kuching.

After that, shopping!! Hihiihhi..I love shopping in KL. Whenever I stop to think about what I want…I can easily find it in KL coz choices are plenty!! Woot3xx… When shopping around that area til it’s 4.30pm. While waiting for Didek and Mushy to arrive KL, we took a break at Dome and ordered espreski!!! That drink yg sik abis2 kena promote in Cleo Magazine that ponekkan me everytime I see that ads.



5.30pm, meet up with the Prisses (Didek and Mushy) at Imbi’s Monorail. Didek was having her period (so was I), but it was yg terlampau emotional when we meet up for the first time after a year plus++. Nangis indah tahap hancur make up bila jumpa Alex. Awwww~ Hahahhaha. Didek2~ hahahahaha. Paloi2. Hhahahhahaha..
Since the princess doesn’t want to go shopping carrying a backpack around, we head back to the hotel, drop our stuff, take a nice hot shower den go out again, the Prisses have not ate so go makan lor before go Hard Rock Café!! Woot3xxx…

The Telephone Band.

I love hard rock café!!! We went 5 minutes before 9pm. So yea, we made it in time, before 9pm (happy hour ends). U know what that means?? No cover charge of RM35 per person, and buy one jug free one. LOL. So we got 2 jugs, dat means a total of 4 jugs yg x abis alu2. Got nachos coz we saw some dude at the bar ordered it and it looks so yummy. Hhihihihi.

The best thing about HardRockCafe..The band – The Telephone band(LOL) from Thailand…U know, if u go to a normal pub the band normally plays all sorts of universal music from rock to hip hop to pop to dangdut at whatever crap. This band here plays all sorts of music, but rock music…Sakai la aku sukk..hahhaha. From BoysLikeGirls, BreakingBenjamin, GunsNRoses, Queen, PARAMORE, FallOutBoy, MCR(LOL), ShutUpAndDrive, FranzFerdinand, Daughtry, Jet etc…So we ended up hanging out there til really2 late coz Alex and I were curious all the way (what other songs are they gonna play?????). Took a cab back to the hotels 3 sumthing…Ordered McD for supper in the room..Hihihihi…Slept eventually….

The next day, woke up at 1sumthing PM!!!! Arghhh..Such a waste of time. Hahahhaha. Oh well, so we had lunch or more accurate heavy tea time at Carls Jr. Pavillion. We saw the advertisement in one of the Tunehotels magazine so wanted to give it a try.

P-ly – Fail, ate halfway only.

Mushyy – Success, manage to finish the whole thing although taking her sweet time..

Didek – Failed after 3-4 bites. LOL!

After that, went window shopping around Pavillion, Starhill, and Lot 10..

I bought earings, more accessories throughout the day. Hihihihihi…After that, Alex and I split away from the Prisses..Didek’s meeting her friends. So, yea, we had to split to optimize time. Hehe. So after that, Alex and I went to Jackie Chan’s Coffee and Tea to chill awhile…We just want to try all sorts of new places without bothering much about the price. Hehehhee. It was attractive coz the couch is longgg…Really long til u can sleep on it. Hehehe…

After that, we went to Petaling Street coz Alex wants to buy those replica stuff. Hehehe. He bought a new watch and Zippo there. And for myself, another Chelsea Jersey. Hahahak. After that, went back to MedanTuanku, roam around den head back to the hotel to mandi2. Walking around Petaling Street will make u sweat. Heeee…

After that, head back to Bukit Bintang to meet up with the Prisses again around 12am…We went to Lecka2.. Egyptian tempat lepak yang bolehhh tahan…Hehehe.

We ordered Grape Shisha, Mocktails,Coffees, Cocktails, Nachos and etc2 for a grand total of RM261++.. not that bad. LOL. We chatted til around 3-4am den head back home… And again, makan McD gik got supper…Yea, planned to stay up before the flight in the morning, but tertidur juak and woke up late at 8am. Hihihihihi….

Oh well, we made it in time for our flight back to Kuching at 11.30am. Heeee…. So sad, time flies so fast when ur having fun. Sik guna…Cit3xxx….

You know...as much as you think me and him alike, no no, there are things that makes me and him very different. However, i kinda like it!!! This is why~ Just found out today...

Alexander George Cox, a person who really cares about the things he spends on..For a example,(PSP) LOL. That's the good part, but he's veryyy spendthrift! aiyaayayayayai.

Pearly Anne Chan, a person who don't really care if her gadget rosak. A person who thinks too much before purchasing something major. LOL...

So this is the situation...

whenever he goes out, wanna buy something, it's always me whom will bug him.. Sure or not u want to buy, not worth it larrrr... So yea i help him with his weakness, which is, buying something bluntly coz he likes it without surveying around properly. :)

And for me...Whenever something rosak, i don't really care about it. I'll just leave it to rot! LOL! Just see lar the rm1000 digicam, til now LCD Screen crack x gago repair. hihihihihi... Til recently, my psp condemn...At first i don't really care to send it for repair...Thank god for alex~ Manage to motivate me to fix the psp~ Which cost just RM45. Hihihihi. Den den, when PSP suda sihat, me want to buy new battery coz battery pula yg condemn...Wanted to buy the cheap rm30 battery from lelong, but Alex yang really cares for stuffs, suruh me buy bttery original at rm180+++.. Sanggup lagi dia chip in half for the battery~ His reason, don't want anything bad to happen to my PSP yang cost rm900 baaaa...Awwww...hehehe, love u for that but mahal lah!! Hihihihi. So, ok, ikut cakap, don't buy that battery but me x give up, me go survey2 find pro psp to convince alex yang battery murahan can be ok. hihihihi. Yay, he's convinced! :p

Alltogether, the repair cost for my PSP yang tenggelam dalam air cost rm100 only. What would i do without him..Without him, i wouldn't be playing PSP nemore now. :)

Bargaining tips.

My psp slim is finally repaired... Spent RM45 for technician to do the checking...Ok, on that day, everything seems okayh...The next day, i couldn't charge my battery, so yup, my psp batteries ROSAK. LOL. i laughed it out~ So today, went window shopping for battery~ Went to SONY, asked them what's the price for psp slim original batteries...RM184!!! maisibey~ hahahaha, centak rompak it is...

SO went to shop number one, lousy looking quality selling at rm59 nett..Not interested~ Den went to another shop~ FOund the battery sebijik like the one i saw at lelong selling at rm79~ wtf~ at lelong is rm37+rm10(shipping)...So i ngenjen the tauke...Got less ka i asked? den stupid him say yes, how much u want? Bluntly i told him i'll only buy if ur selling me at rm50~ Hahahhaa, terkejut dia. But who cares~ if he's gonna less it to rm70 might as well i buy from lelong. I told him, yea, rm50 coz i found a better deal online..So he called the technician, confirmed with me later..."rm55 ok ka?" LOL,"i knew he's gonna give me that price so yea, i purchased it for convenience sake.

Moral of the story, if u wanna bargain, give them unrealistic price, an some silly excuse you can make up urself~ For an example, if seller side, RM79, normally dey don't mind bring down the price to rm75~ rm70 the most~ So, yea, try asking for silly discount such as rm50~ coz logically, yea, dey don't make much, but at least there's sales~ LOL...Desperate seller will wanna bargain with you more~ And for me, i got rm55, which i'm happy enuf and obviously he was unhappy coz he don't provide after sales service to me. LOL.

this concept is more or less like what we see in TV...U help me i give u 20%/80%?? Nono, 50%/50%!! Haiyo, 40%/60%????!!! DEAL!! gotcha~ :p

Emotionally tired...

It all started off with daddy forcing me to drink the herbal chicken soup...Taste like crap...Dat soup makes a body very heaty allthough it's actually good...

So, after i drank that soup...Went playing badminton with friends...My body heats up..dahla guna jersey...Makin panas...the weather was also hot, til i almost passed out...

Den, when i reached home, found out that my water tumbler was not locked tight..So spilt all over the badminton bag...The shitty part is..my PSP is in it..So, it's all soaked in water....

I was still okayh...So continue outing went pool with friends...Enjoy mmg enjoy...But towards the end of the day..I'm soo emotionally stresssedddd and tired...I cried on the way back home..Why coz...timpak gik with cash problem..mok enjoy but duit kering...psp pula died....

I broke my record after at least a year(i think)

Woke up at 8am, breakfast with Alex, Meme, Nel and Roy before badminton. After that, 10am played badminton for 2 hours...

Went back home awhile, bath2 den go out again at 1.30pm...

Alex suppose to work at 3pm, but took sick leave headache~ LOL

First went to Star cineplex plan wanna watch movie, but no suitable time, so we end up bought tickets first for Hancock at 7.30pm..Went to Tun Jugah Roy mau survey2 PSP coz he wants one..Den, survey turns out to be direct purchase. Damn, i envy him. He purchased God of War special edition PSP Slim with free UMD game(God of war), and otherstuffs...Spent there for nearly 3 hours..Rondeng2 with bos gik~ hahahahak.

After that, dropped Meme 'home', sian xpat join. hihihi...Den go dinnering, den watched Hancock! Nice movie, better than Jumper. Love it. It's a must watch lar. Superhero paikia.LOL.

Den end up yamcha at Expert BDC.. Daddy called,"U want to break ur rekod for going out from morning until night hah??!"..hihihihihi...Back home at nearly 12am~

thanx to muck for tagging me, something to keep me busy while i'm bored with no work to do at work~ xD (Muck, malas sa fikir so i take ur points and give out my own opinions lah, and I'll do a lil bit of modification if it's needed)

1. About me.
Mua is Pearly Anne Chan, turning 21 this year(yipee), currently studying in UNIMAS taking Bachelor degree in Marketing, final year student(double yipee). A person who can't handle risk that could cause heavy regret and damage therefore i prefer to keep my options open. Currently striving for a CGPA above 3.0 coz i still haven't made my final decision to either continue Masters or just start working..Minimum requirement to take masters full time is the 3.0 CGPA. Therefore,I'll just decide next sem..Hihihihi.. A person who does wayy too much budgeting and calculation coz I have limited cash but i aint complaining coz my parents wants me to learn how to save cash and don't spend it anyhow..(i don't ask for allowance til my own PTPTN run out~ xD xDwhich normally happens after the sem is over~). There's still alot i wanna write but i think that's about it. Oh yea, my dad makes me cry alot not because his a bad father but just that whenever his volume goes up, it scares me til i cry. LOL. eventhough he wasn't scolding me,(scold my mum or sis), tears fall down~ LOL!!! When i talk to him also i stutter alot coz he scares me. My mum pula, she tends to make me merajuk alot coz she don't keep promises and tend to forget what she promises coz she's so busy with her work. When i ask, she'll procrastinate the promise, when i ask again, She'll get annoyed. The only solution, is to merajuk lah. I normally give her 2 months til i set my merajuk aura towards her. I love my boyfriend shooo much~ LOL. He's so cool and he's happy. I hope he really is. LOL. I love my friends too. I'll do anything for this people(When i'm in the mood)kikikiki.. Okayhs, enuf here.

2. Interests.
There's alot! I love sports..My major is volleyball but apakan daya, i don't have a team anymore here...So, now, i play badminton and futsal. I just love sports that requires balls~ LOL. and the company~ kkikikiki.Other than that, i love games..Computer games(that's why muck, aku nda bole tahan kalau ram 512 ja!) hihihi. PSP games that can be a gadget that u depend on when ur away from home to kill boredom. I don't know, but i think i love bir better than liquor. But i hate the impact of both. Overdose bir gives u a huge belly,while overdose liquor makes u pass out. HGahahahahak. For the short term effect, i prefer beer coz i talk crappy when i drink bir while i don't talk at all if i drink liquor coz it's too melemahkan~ hahahahak. Finally, i love music. To be specific, rock alternative music. Love to go jamming, and best feeling of all, performing on stage~ xD something to remember for quite some time.

3. Poor anger management.
For this, it really depends. If around my parents, i have rili2 poor anger management. Sikit2 annoyed, sikit2 malas mau layan. Reached to this point that my daddy say,'How to be marketer, got bad PR skills, bad attitude problem". LOL!!!! But i guess I'm okayh around other ppl just not them. Heeee

4.I wear it because I like it, not because everybody wears it.
Ini betul, I'm not gonna use LV nor GUess(oh maybe) coz i don't have the cash. However, sometimes what i like is what everybody likes as well. Such as, adidas shoes, tersuka although it's very mainstream. Grand theft auto also i like although that game is very famous. Well, there's a reason why it's famous at the first place right? cause it's good...

5.I'm a binger
Tend to do things to the extreme and moderation is not me. When i eat, i eat alot. When i exercise, i tend to exercise up til 7 days a week but only for a certain period. When i sleep, i sleep more than 10 hours to make myself happy, and can go as little as no sleep at all if i dont want to. When i study, i study the whole day, but when i dont, i procrastinate more than a month til i dont attend classes. xD.

6.Politics makes me laugh.
Why? Rules are meant to be broken when it's needed. If org bilang nda bole birak sini but nda bole tahan suda, birak ja lah. LOL

7."Man and woman are equal". Girls, don't u dare to say this if...
To me, if you want ur man to treat u equally, don't give them all the power in the world.(sounds harsh huh, but read my next point). It all starts with fundamentals..If u expect ur guy to pay for ur meal everytime ur out, expect them to pay for all the bill, expect to splurge on u for shopping and ETC that involves cash, ur actually giving him power(YES, THEY DESERVE THE POWER) and you don't deserve to be treated equally.. Belanja once in awhile is okayh because belanja is suppose to be sincere. kikikiki. But den, u gotta give and take. That term, Man and woman are equal only works if that couple works like a team in their relationship.. Double income is always better rite? xD (currently living under the same roof where most of the power is on my dad, if i piss him off, habis la kereta kena tarik, no more financial support, laptop kena tarik. He deserves the power coz mmg pun i depend on him for now..LOL..Can't wait to live my own life)

8.My brain storms randomly.
Random ideas pops out from no where. Creative ideas kaa, random feelings ka, it all happens randomly. I can't force it out...Whenever ppl ask bout how am i, what's new, I don't know what to say or i don't have much to say coz my brain will be asleep but wakes up anytime. Silly head...
