I've just finish downloading 2 albums from Secondhand Serenade and I'd like to say their other songs are much better than the sold out fall for you. :p

This album makes me cry, jiwang, be all emo all over again. Emo NOT as in sedih3xx, nangis3xx, potong kuku and kulit or mana2 bahagian badan but...being sensitive all over again to the deep feel melody and lyrics..hahahahak.. my favourite track is Your Call~ haaaarrr~

being like this reminds me of the old days as well... being in the room, with a laptop on my lap lying down on the bed while blogging with dashboard confessional(dulu) mp3 playing through my earphones. I"m exactly that, just that dashboard ganti with secondhand serenade. Reminds me of the days back in Matriculation where emo was a hit among kids. LOL.

stayed at concorde. nice! free buffet breakfast and supper. and the mobile band in melting pot restaurant is so the very frienly. but the band at Crossroad lounge so2...i think d band sesuai for the elder..hehehehe..coz i kanot layan..next to it is hard rock cafe. nid not to bout it coz u knoe i love hard rock. hehehehee

It's funn!! the fact that there's more choices everywhere. hehehehe.but den, the cheap ones better don't buy. RM10!! RM20!! all rm25!!! geezzz...the quality is really2 bad..and this new policy they have, no trying on promotion items. hahahha. smart move, mmg leceh to gantung and organise balik the baju after beribu-ribu customer masuk to a small lot boutique and cramp the place up. hehehehehe. coz cheaper price always means lousier service provided and smaller shelf space. for branded stuff, the promotion they have is the same in Kuching, the only different is the new arrival items dat eventually will arrive kuching. hehehehe. Skinny jeans in KL are plenty! hahahaha. In kch for good quality ones normally cost between rm70 - rm100.. den a round2 found stripes skinny so got one for myself. hehehe

I get to meet ela after 3 years!!! she's a fren of mine from KK..omg damn i miss that girl alot..hehehe..and perangai x berubah at all diz..hihihi..so we went to bangsar with her close fren si jane whole day and coffee beaning.. den next day went to Cosmo World Theme Park..and last day in KL we went out for breakfast with MAmafly @ CB!! hehehe, sempat....Den after dropping ela back to her family, flo and I went window shopping and chit chat nonstop until it's time for me to head back to the hotel for me to check out myself. hehehehe

yesterday Florianna Lendai Michael a.k.a mamafly or just fly called so the very last minute bawa outing with her cousin and childhood fren. Cun2 i was soo bored, cun2 Alex working, cun2 jamming plans cancelled so i was soo happy!! yesss!! pick me up!!! but while i was taking a shower, teringat ba kawan seorang tok si Mushyy..so me call her wanna culik her as well..she tag along! wooot3xxxx...so we end up kayo2 around the townchit chatting bout nothing and laugh about nonsense. Oh well, it's fun to be around girls like this ppl. Too comfortable to talk nonsense and act like unworthy coz at the end of the day, u still feel worthy. I"m not talking right here...hehehehe...oh well...i miss mamafly! she has the loudest laugh! kakakakaka! now i appreciate her high pitch voice coz i think i'm getting pekak'er day by day so for me, her voice is crystal clear me like~~~

I'm loving my school holidays seriously! got soo busy doing things other than studying that feels so good, i wonder if that will be a bad thing or no? How am i gonna switch on my study mode once school starts back?PLus, there's tons of catching up to do once new sem kicks in. ANYWAYYYSSSS I SHOULDNT THINK ABOUT IT...hehehehhehee

BAsically my life during this holidays is spend on special things to me. It's great!! Combination of boyfriend+family+friends+hobby!!

Remember arsonist? the side project band i talked about in the previous post?? I'm lovin this band. hehehe. I'm lovin this type of music, post-hardcore. Need not to explain much about the genre but it conclusion it's screamo that's tolerable. xD. I love 'trying' being different, not saying i'm different though. I'm okayh when someone follows the path i'm into..but i'll leave that path and start new again.. Hehehe, as the saying goes...some lead, some follow xD (self pujuk coz of some2).. The progress with the band? We're invited to play at boulevard this weekend but i'm goin KL!! sad2, but no way i'm burning the rm500 flight tiket and shopping spree session using my mum's credit card!! hehehehehe. Den next month there will be another gig at civic centre carpark. Kojack OI3xx did invite us to play, but in a way it's not confirmed..I hope he wudn't forget us. hihihihi... And for Violette, we're playing in Bau this saturday. Some gig. hehehehe

Sakai2...Butterfingers was great, promoting their new album "kembali"..and played a few old numbers including n'iccotyne. hahak.. but it was done acoustically..How i wish they played their zaman monyet songs..but it was nice though. hehehe... and Bunkface!! OMG~ the song bunk anthem is in my head pengaruh by a fren of mine oso. LOLLL!!! i did record a few videos from butterfingers and bunkface but not the whole thing..i wanna enjoy the concert too baaa...hihihihi..

After the end of the mini concert, tracy kawan mushy radio cats fm punya dj announce the winner of the battle..Delphian for Aria!!!! They won Rm1000!! I'm soo happy for them, bunch of friends also. hihihihi. Personal congratulation to kiya for breaking Violette punya curse for mala masuk final but never win, finally ada wakil win! hihihihi!!!

Den recently also i've been spending time with family every monday nite playing badminton. It's soo much fun surprisingly. Hehehehhee. My parents are damn good!!(for their age, kikiki). And i'm happy for them coz at least their working out their muscles once a week. xD

By the way it's my sister's birthday today, she just turned 16 today. And the futsal gang just called asking whether i'm in for tonight's match since the last time i said no was because of my mum's birthday 4 days ago. And today, my reply was the same so i wonder whether they think i'm just making excuses since coincidently today is another birthday so it's the same reason i gave. LOL. oh well, i soo wanna play futsal just that the timing has not been right lately...

Lately, it has been raining very the heavily and this is a pic i took when all cars are driving so the very slow because of the flood the rain caused..plus the bad longkang system yang sik dimaintain in town area..this is a pick taken along ban hock road at town. Where hornbill is? hehehe. Terrible, terrible flood on the way to jamm with the band Arsonist who will be playing Eyes Set To Kill Post-Hardcore cover during BandXplosion Battle of the band.

OH yea, talking about that, Arsonist consist of 3 bands Chain Reaction(used to be called Max Capacity), Verb and Violette. Consist of the screamer and drummer from Chain Reaction, Lead Guitars and Bassist from Verb, and 2nd Guitar and vocals from Violette(me!) hehehehehe..So arsinist is the outcome when Killswitch Engage, Muse and Paramore Collide. LOLL...

p/s(for now): the flood is really bad until i couldn't differentiate mana satu jalan raya mana satu longkang. LOL..totally covered nehhhhh

I'm on a month holiday, my laptop broke down, and i running out of cash..so most of the time i spend my time at home..in my room.. plus, i want to read this book before it masuk cinema so that i can start comparing it. kakakakaka.

today, a new puppy arrived into our crib..it's a hotdog doggie..don't know the scientific name for it, but it's the same hotdog doggie in toy story if u recall...but then, it's mixed breed..so it doesn't have the long nose the normal sosej dog would have. hihihihi..and it's white!! My mum says it looks chinese..so i straightaway called it chinese sosej!! lap-chiong!! akakkakakaa... che2, we got lap-chiong!!!

All in a day of freakin boredom.

Woke up at 9.30am, chatted with jewl who's online pretty early. Went downstairs to check whether the car's home or not because i have a final year presentation to catch between 10am-12pm. My oh my was i shocked to see the pretty honda city at home and not the perodua Kelisa. LOLL.. For a moment sukk dah aku, ooo do i get to drive this car to Samarahan? ngiahahhaa. Den, the responsible side of me gatal2 call daddy and ask him why's the car at home not the one i expected to be? ngiahahhaa. Den simply he replied, 'No no, u wait. I go back home change car" .. Damn ponek. kakakakaka.

So i went to UNIMAS eventually after KOLO MEE brunch dad tapau for me around11am. When i reached my lecturer/supervisor's room, Ey?? No one??? I smsed Choo..Pahal tok pok..Den she say, "i told you sembahyang jumaat maaaa".. Oh yea kan...Lecturer ya salah juak, dah tauk ada student paloi like me sik terfikir pasal ya. Ngiahahhaa. SO i waited until 11.40am. SUDDENLY HE APPEARED. "Kenapa kamu tidak pegi presentation di meeting room??" LOL...i didn't know it's held at meeting room. ngiahhahahaa. So my soo cool lecturer ask me to present informally in his room. I was a joke. ngihahaha. I didn't prepare well enough and end up as a joke. But he's so cool..

Went to Batu 10 to kacau max the ex blondie. hhihihi. Den after that went to batu 7 to do planning. Ada plan mau tgk buaya, ada mau tgk org utan, ada mau mandi sungai..since we're already that far.And the thing is, while we were yamchaing there, i parked at a koboi spot..And end up kena SAMAN! Babi betul... dahla kna charge RM30!!! shyte la, aku pokai ba tok. ngiahhahahaha..

Went back to my place coz i wanna change and bring my laptop along because Max wants the swinburne BOTB videos from adrian's pendrive but his computer couldn't access USB's.. haha..lapsap....so i burn a CD for him lor..while waiting for me to change2, bassist verb and MAx played with berwick the doggie. ngiahhahaa. MAx takut li ngan puppy. miahahaha. "oh no, nya merosakkan my favourite pants man!!!"

So what did we end up doing? Jamming at travillion macam biasa!!! woot3xxx!!! before that do some window shopping.. shiall kacak skinny checkered kuning and merah. ahhh!!!!

At nite i was so bored so tried playing with video clips and edit them rojakly. miahahahaha.

I want/need a drum kit!

among the reasons why..
1. I wanna be like one of those utubians who play drum covers with mp3 playbacks. kikiki
2. I love it, buang stress everytime main drums
3. Why buy gym/exercise machines to workout when i can sweat while playing drums? LOL
4. With a drum set don't have to go out jamming nemore. Well, most of my friends have the other equipments just not the drums.
5. So dat i can do home demo for fun. Increase creativity skills. huhuhu.. I already got a piano, and two acoustics at home.
6. Sick of playing imaginary drums on PCs!!! LOLLL!!!!


So yea, i hope my dad will be willing to subsidies half of my budget for a basic drum kit first.. My budget is RM1,000 by January 2009. Can push to RM1,200 but i'll have to starve if i do so. Kikikikiki... My eyes is on a V-Drums so dat i can play all night long without neighbours complaining...and it's recordable for demos...friends do complain say that why v-drums?? dat sux!! doesn't feel like the real thing at all.. I've tried it before and to me ok lei. macam2 sound can make. kikikikiki.

Roland V-drums is soo dammit expensive and wayy above budget. Rm6000+++.. hahahha..damn...So, if not this...I'll have to go for that...

What is life without a break? Easy, u will break. ngiahahhahaa. So here i am, not exactly taking a break from assignments but more to procrastinating thinking about food, boyfriend, and a bunch of silly random thoughts such as, if crave for food, nafsu membuak-buak, so does that make me horny? xD

Monday BLU

it's been awhile since i updated my blog..well..since i'm soo free and alot of stuff that's running through my mind that's disturbing my sleep and causing me to feel weaker than ever the day after everyday..i guess i should blog..ngiahhaha.. cool peeps, nothing major..just bored.. hehe

Yesterday was the same routine...goin badminton, goin supper after badminton, den chatted with friends on Windows Live msnger and not forgetting battle of the bands on facebook xD til really2 late around 4-5am den i actually slept...this are the stuff i do that i like, and have no complain againts boredom or whatsoever... Just that, this time it's not boredom that kicks in.. Just that there's just way too many important things that's running through my mind..erkh...and everytime it starts to bug me, i will try to block it out before it affects my mood and the mood of the ppl around me.. coz it's just some small problems that no one else can help but myself. Friends cannot help personal problems but they can distract you before u start whining about it.. kakakakaka.

So while i was playing badminton..thinking back pasal my current financial status. There's just tonnes of things i wanna buy. I'm in shopping mood but i just don't have the cash. I soo need to sell of my PSP ASAP...wanna buy diz wanna buy dat..currently there's 2 interested buyer who's willing to pay RM600 for the PSP..but shyt the maintenance process by the org kedai to my PSP is taking such a long timeee!! Now lelong is selling PSP on 'Raya Promotion' So it's slightly cheaper..tsk3xxx...me bingung coz lamak gilak tunggu my psp to siap..the longer i wait the higher the chance is for price to drop even further...but den psp price mmg pun like YO-YO since last time. when i bought my psp early this year it was rm800 den dropped to RM700, den naik balik rm800...hihihihihi..

Second thing that every once in awhile irritates me..but den again, it's my own mistake for taking things wayy too lightly xDD...My final year project has not started at all...and the 1st semester of my final year is goin to end soon..and i haven't start at all!!! oh well..den this week i got 2 major assigments to do..i guess it's enough time..i hope...

Last but not least..although my attendance has been errrr...however..i'm pushing myself to not flop at all this semester..I think i do need some luck. hehehhehe.

Where do we stand in this competition?? Between number 6-10. LOL. We didn't get any number but were in the finals la maksudnyaa..

1st place goes to Stoic4Life, 2nd Dyerbreed, 3rd lupa suda nama sorry2, consolations orion burns and lucille.. Some of their videos can be watched on utube.. So just try searching on these band names and u will be able to spot it. eh, not forgetting our band videos. LOL.. just search through my utube account 'pearlyannechan'. hihihihi

Wish i have photos of it, once i have the pics i'll edit this post...Btw, it was raining during the finals.. Hahahhahak.. spoil li juak...our band played 2 songs...intrumental patriotik cover for saya anak malaysia and paramore cover lagi - emergency. I think we did okayh.. That's just about it. The intrumental wasn't up to par but what do u expect from less than 1/2 hour practice. Sighh..

When results were given...when they announce ORION BURNS consolation..from that moment, okayh, that will be imposible to get any number coz that band ordy terlampau hebat. one of my favourites in the competition.

How i wish for finals the judge will be involved giving feedbacks to everyband after they perform on where to improve this that. i wanna hear that. ekekekke. Although i can get feedbacks from utube users juak. ekekeke

Violette: We're in the semis!!

That's a video of us during our preliminary round. It was funnn, the stage was niceeee..the audience was supportive. Nice crowddd yesterday night. On the first night of the prelims (23rd august), 13 bands competing to be the top 6 to go on in the semifinals... Alex's band Max capacity also made it through the semifinals. They were good...ROckin their metal music. hIhihihihi..Pretty good scores too..Alex got full marks for vocals. Woot3xx.

On the second night(just now 24th august), more great bands performed..Had fun..i went there to chill wearing comfy clothes...Singlet, shortpants,slipar jepunn...Den den...when all bands done performing...Results announce..Adeih, perlukah naik stage...dah la i wear cikai...ekekkekee. auk jakla..

Yup, it's final. Violette will be in the semifinal stage on 29th August 08. Yay, happy coz we just proved to ourself that, yea, we don't suck. Hehehhehehe. Supposedly 12 bands in semifinals but the judges put in 2 more bands in as wildcards. Yippeee!! So a challenge is set for semifinalist.. For the first 2-3 minutes(7 minutes given), every band must play an instrumental. Any instrumental songs from the 60s or 70s! LOLL~

So plzzz...Anyone got any suggestions? Do leave a comment...Hihihihihihi...

The day before the next battle of the bands

Yesh, another battle of the bands. this time at boulevard - Banditogether 08. 25 bands competing for the rm1ooo grand prize. Just wanna join the battle for fun and see where we stand in this competition. So far, i have no idea the lvl of this band.. So yea, i'm excited for this. Didn't practice at all this week coz bandmates including myself just couldn't find the time where all of us free at the same time.. Just hoping that after all this jamming sessions that has been goin on for the past year will help booze our confidence. LOL

bought a new handphone!!

After using my 3250 for a mere 3 years..finally i decided to change handphone..Not really keen to change coz im a simple handphone user...LOL....Today teman alex shop for a new handphone coz his phone condemned..So, while he was shopping...i was tempted to get one too...And yea, i did got one! GArrrrr...Now im broke..BUt im happy, coz i love it. Slim handphone..Love it coz it's slim..hehehehhe...So, it's Nokia 5310 Music Express.

Getaway

I’ve planned on this from quite some time, finally I get to go on a vacation with Alex. Yippie! Just wanna go have fun while meet up with a friend whom I’ve not met for quite some time iaitu Priss a.k.a Didek - one of the Crawlers back in matriculation. Heee.

So yea, planned it 2 months back on where to stay, do what, what am I gonna tell my parents so yea, che, if ur reading this, don’t busy body tell mummy or daddy coz I don’t feel the need to tell them coz I’m using my own cash yea. Thanx. :D

So, Alex and I went to KL, for 3 nights from 24th til 27th July. Went there by Airasia Just RM160 per pax return flight, and staying 3 nights at TuneHotels just for RM210 for 3 nights. It’s a very good price since the bed is really comfortable. Love it. Hahak.

At only RM70 a night, we get aircon, hot power shower, a big enuf bathroom and toilet, a foldable table, nice lighting and this comfy bed. The moment I wanted to sleep, I fell asleep within 10 seconds. LOL. Normally it would take me around half an hour to fall asleep.

First day, after arriving at TuneHotels, freshen up, den went out to browse2 search nearby. Oh yea, tune hotels is around Medan Tuanku. There’s a monorail nearby, Sogo, pertama complex, and other places nearby. So yea, Alex and I went to Pertama Complex and geez, handphone sia punya la murah, I almost bought one. Rugi eh sik..Tsk3xxx…. Bought band tees there. They have this custom made bandshirts in Pertama Complex recommended by Kiya. Oh yesss, nice design, no wonder Kiya loves it. I don’t. Those are male teeesss…Geezzz…Size S fits but the chest part is just to tight~ Made for guys right~ but I bought it eventually…Bought 2 band shirts there. Paramore and August Burns Red tees…heeee…After that, had Pizza for dinner…Went back home, relaxed..Den went to times square to watch a movie. Before movie, browse through times square and I bought 2 new tees from Hang Ten. Movie for that night was Journey To The Centre Of The Earth. It wass niceeee..hahaha. Silly, not logic at all but still, entertaining since it got me up all the way although I wass extremely tired already… 11.30pm, movie ended and we catch the monorail back to Medan Tuanku.. Tired but don’t wanna go back early..So we went to a Penang Kopitiam along the streets for yamcha..Went back after midnight…Reached back home and slept…Zzzzzzzz….
2nd day, woke up around 11am(overslept) heeee…took the monorail to Bukit Bintang and had lunch at Super Noodle House. Ala2 HongKong Noodle house in Kuching.

After that, shopping!! Hihiihhi..I love shopping in KL. Whenever I stop to think about what I want…I can easily find it in KL coz choices are plenty!! Woot3xx… When shopping around that area til it’s 4.30pm. While waiting for Didek and Mushy to arrive KL, we took a break at Dome and ordered espreski!!! That drink yg sik abis2 kena promote in Cleo Magazine that ponekkan me everytime I see that ads.



5.30pm, meet up with the Prisses (Didek and Mushy) at Imbi’s Monorail. Didek was having her period (so was I), but it was yg terlampau emotional when we meet up for the first time after a year plus++. Nangis indah tahap hancur make up bila jumpa Alex. Awwww~ Hahahhaha. Didek2~ hahahahaha. Paloi2. Hhahahhahaha..
Since the princess doesn’t want to go shopping carrying a backpack around, we head back to the hotel, drop our stuff, take a nice hot shower den go out again, the Prisses have not ate so go makan lor before go Hard Rock Café!! Woot3xxx…

The Telephone Band.

I love hard rock café!!! We went 5 minutes before 9pm. So yea, we made it in time, before 9pm (happy hour ends). U know what that means?? No cover charge of RM35 per person, and buy one jug free one. LOL. So we got 2 jugs, dat means a total of 4 jugs yg x abis alu2. Got nachos coz we saw some dude at the bar ordered it and it looks so yummy. Hhihihihi.

The best thing about HardRockCafe..The band – The Telephone band(LOL) from Thailand…U know, if u go to a normal pub the band normally plays all sorts of universal music from rock to hip hop to pop to dangdut at whatever crap. This band here plays all sorts of music, but rock music…Sakai la aku sukk..hahhaha. From BoysLikeGirls, BreakingBenjamin, GunsNRoses, Queen, PARAMORE, FallOutBoy, MCR(LOL), ShutUpAndDrive, FranzFerdinand, Daughtry, Jet etc…So we ended up hanging out there til really2 late coz Alex and I were curious all the way (what other songs are they gonna play?????). Took a cab back to the hotels 3 sumthing…Ordered McD for supper in the room..Hihihihi…Slept eventually….

The next day, woke up at 1sumthing PM!!!! Arghhh..Such a waste of time. Hahahhaha. Oh well, so we had lunch or more accurate heavy tea time at Carls Jr. Pavillion. We saw the advertisement in one of the Tunehotels magazine so wanted to give it a try.

Tamak Makanan

Alex – Pro. Hahaha. Ate the whole thing and finished Didek’s burger as well
P-ly – Fail, ate halfway only.

Mushyy – Success, manage to finish the whole thing although taking her sweet time..

Didek – Failed after 3-4 bites. LOL!

After that, went window shopping around Pavillion, Starhill, and Lot 10..

I bought earings, more accessories throughout the day. Hihihihihi…After that, Alex and I split away from the Prisses..Didek’s meeting her friends. So, yea, we had to split to optimize time. Hehe. So after that, Alex and I went to Jackie Chan’s Coffee and Tea to chill awhile…We just want to try all sorts of new places without bothering much about the price. Hehehhee. It was attractive coz the couch is longgg…Really long til u can sleep on it. Hehehe…

After that, we went to Petaling Street coz Alex wants to buy those replica stuff. Hehehe. He bought a new watch and Zippo there. And for myself, another Chelsea Jersey. Hahahak. After that, went back to MedanTuanku, roam around den head back to the hotel to mandi2. Walking around Petaling Street will make u sweat. Heeee…

After that, head back to Bukit Bintang to meet up with the Prisses again around 12am…We went to Lecka2.. Egyptian tempat lepak yang bolehhh tahan…Hehehe.

We ordered Grape Shisha, Mocktails,Coffees, Cocktails, Nachos and etc2 for a grand total of RM261++.. not that bad. LOL. We chatted til around 3-4am den head back home… And again, makan McD gik got supper…Yea, planned to stay up before the flight in the morning, but tertidur juak and woke up late at 8am. Hihihihihi….

Oh well, we made it in time for our flight back to Kuching at 11.30am. Heeee…. So sad, time flies so fast when ur having fun. Sik guna…Cit3xxx….
